Our Guys

We have two studs here at Flawless Shepherds, and we are huge fans of both of them. They are both traditionally colored with red and black. They are both short coat, but carry the long coat gene. We are so proud of what they have added to our program!

Medox - Official name: Medox von Empiere

Medox is, in a word, awesome. He is our import stud from Hungary and we are absolutely thrilled to have his puppies for the very first time in the US! He was quite the star while in Hungary and we know he is going to be as amazing in the US as well.

He is everything you could want in a stud. Medox has exceptionally deep red markings, no diluted tan here whatsoever. Yes, he is as every bit as red in person as he looks in these pictures. We know, its hard to believe! He has a thick, full, “plush” coat. Medox is not a long coat (though he carries one copy of the gene so he can produce long coats if bred to the correct female) but instead has an extra thick stock coat that makes him a show stopper. Medox has a handsome wide face that is true to type for a German Shepherd. He is masculine in appearance with a wide muzzle, correct and alert ears, with intense eyes and gaze. In short, Medox is a beautifully put together boy. He is very true to the classic German Shepherd “type” that we breed for at Lionheart Shepherds.

On top of that he is a very loving boy with an easygoing personality. He loves people and attention and playing with the kids.

Medox is one of those that gets stopped while walking down the street, he is just that handsome. Medox has both training and show titles. He took first place in multiple championships in Hungary, where he is from. Medox passed his health certifications in both Europe and the US with flying colors. Not only were his elbows, eyes, and heart normal, his hips received the highest grade possible with OFA, EXCELLENT. The puppies he has produced for us are already looking outstanding. We know he is going to be a wonderful stud for us here for a very long time. Medox is available for stud for select females. Please contact us for more info!

Bacchus - Official name: BAKO z Rodu Tytana

We are so in love with our beautiful and kind boy, Bacchus. While we could go on and on about his good qualities, we will try to put just a few of them down here.

Bacchus has a wonderful personality. He’s wise and gentle, yet watchful and protective of his family. He has both his BH and IPO1 titles, which prove his steady, obedient temperament. Neither of these titles are easy to obtain and both require hundreds of training hours. Even then, only Shepherds with the perfect temperament, obedience and disposition are able to perform well enough to earn their BH or IPO1. We see this example of his wonderful disposition in real life, where he is gentle and kind to old and young folks alike.

Bacchus’ structure is outstanding. He moves well and is most impressive to watch. He’s a big guy – close to 90 pounds – and will pass his big bone on to his puppies. His earset is perfect, his muzzle is wide and strong, and he has the perfect amount of black on his face. These things combine to give him an absolutely beautiful head. He is a deep, deep red (our favorite) with a black saddle.

Bacchus had his X-rays completed, and has clear (perfect) hips and elbows, something extremely important in a German Shepherd. He is also and is DM free, and carries chocolate.

Overall, Bacchus is an impressive example of the German Shepherd breed, and we are incredibly thrilled to have a boy like him in our program.  We are fortunate enough to also own his precious daughter, Mocha.

Jack - Official name: Jack Boca Bohemia

We are so incredibly proud of our boy Jack! Jack comes from Czech Republic working lines, and his temperament is absolutely incredible. He is at the same time, alert, affectionate, friendly, attentive, and fun. Jack has a high drive and is very attentive and eager to train and learn, however he has a very good “off” switch and is phenomenal in the house, hanging out with the family. Jack such a fun and friendly guy, and he shows it to all he meets with his ever wagging tail. Personality wise, even people who do not like shepherds are won over by the friendly and attentive nature of Jack. However, it is not only Jack’s loving nature we are in love with. Jack is and absolutely stunning example of working line Czech GSD. He has a solid black coat, chocolate eyes, and is put together beautifully. Many people ask for a shepherd with a straight back, and Jack certainly delivers. He has beautiful straight and tight feet and an impressive head. He has a lean body that is built for movement and speed. Yet he is an intimidating size – over 80 pounds. Jack has not received his training titles yet simply because Covid has caused trials to be cancelled throughout 2020. However we hope he will get to train this summer and receive IPO1, simply because we know he is such an excellent prospect, and he truly loves the training and work. Jack is DM clear and has had prelim X-rays done on his hips and elbows (clear).
